PWS develops systems and products where people and the environment are at the heart of everything we do. We achieve this by:

  • to provide functional products and systems that provide functional systems and products for efficient waste management
  • consider the environmental impact of our products throughout the product development process and continuously reduce it through product improvements
  • complying with all applicable legal and other binding requirements
  • actively preventing pollution and continuously reducing our environmental impact

Work environment policy

PWS is committed to providing a safe, healthy and supportive working environment where everyone is treated with openness, respect and consideration. Occupational health and safety are an integral part of everything we do and are incorporated into all decisions and activities. We are committed to continuously improving our working environment from an organisational, social and physical perspective.

We achieve this by:

  • making occupational health and safety an integral part of everything we do
  • promoting collaboration between employers, employees and safety representatives in all occupational health and safety activities
  • ensuring that managers and supervisors have the knowledge, competence, resources and authority needed to create and maintain a safe working environment
  • providing all employees with the introduction and training they need to work safely and contribute to a healthy workplace
  • regularly assessing risks within our physical, organisational and social working environment, particularly during periods of change, to ensure appropriate preventive actions are taken
  • reporting and investigating all incidents and near misses to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
  • reviewing and evaluating our systematic occupational health and safety management on an annual basis
  • providing clear, supportive leadership based on respect and care for every employee
  • prioritising collective protective measures while adapting work, where appropriate, to individual needs and abilities
